Zero Gravity Marketing has risen above the competition to become a top digital marketing firm in Connecticut, and we credit it to our unique, diverse team. We appreciate every player, and we know that without him or her, we wouldn’t be the successful marketing firm we are today.

With this in mind, we have launched an Employee Spotlight initiative. Our hope is that, as you learn more about each of the talented individuals at our marketing firm, you will gain further insight into why we are so great together.

Today, we are thrilled to introduce Lindsay Alexander, Senior Account Executive. We have asked her a few questions to provide an insider’s look as to what makes Lindsay tick. Enjoy!

Lindsay Alexander, Senior Account Executive

Wallingford, CT.

How did you choose this career path?

I went to school for Organizational Communications and had always had an interest in Marketing so when looking into careers, Account Management made a lot of sense for me!

What do you like most about your job?

At ZGM I get to work with many different types of clients so while I am working on projects with them, I get to learn about these different types of businesses and industries. I also really enjoy being able to help clients create things that they love and will help them.

What is your favorite part of being a member of the ZGM team?

Everyone at ZGM is so creative and passionate, it is inspiring to learn more and do my best every day.

What is the strangest job you’ve ever had?

For a few summers, I worked at a golf course promoting a golfing company and basically had to talk to golfers to try to get them to sign up for things – not fun!

What is your favorite quote?

“Everything happens for a reason.”

Do you have any pets?

Yes – 3 cats currently. My 17 year old dog just passed away recently.

Name one thing on your bucket list.

My ultimate goal is to open an animal rescue organization/shelter sometime in the near future.

What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?

I purchased a house by myself last year and did some work on it – It is a work in progress but I am proud of the updates I’ve made!

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

Dance, Yoga and Volunteering at animal shelters.

What’s your favorite food? Least favorite food?

My favorite is a tie between Mexican food and Pizza. My least favorite is Indian food (not a fan of curry).

Pick three words to describe yourself.

Caring, Empathetic, Inspired.

Favorite musician?

I really don’t have a favorite because I like all types of music.

If you were a Crayola crayon, what color would you be?

Violet Purple.

You’re about to perform in a karaoke bar. What song do you pick?

Don’t Stop Believing.

If you could live in a TV show, book, or movie, which one would you pick?

This is such a tough question….I guess I would say The Great Gatsby because I would love to see what is was like to live in that time period.

If you could hang out with anyone for a day, alive or dead, who would it be and why?

My great grandmother – She passed away a while before I was born but I heard we were very much alike and I probably got most of my personality from her.
