Zero Gravity Marketing has risen above the competition to become a top digital marketing firm in Connecticut, and we credit it to our unique, diverse team. We appreciate every player, and we know that without him or her, we wouldn’t be the successful marketing firm we are today.

With this in mind, we have launched an Employee Spotlight initiative. Our hope is that, as you learn more about each of the talented individuals at our marketing firm, you will gain further insight into why we are so great together.

Today, we are thrilled to introduce Richard Marchetti, Digital Producer. We have asked him a few questions to provide an insider’s look as to what makes Rich tick. Enjoy!

Where are you from?

I am from Seymour, CT. Most people will not know where that is. If you are wondering, it is a small town in the valley. There are probably more cows than people.

How did you choose this career path?

I was lucky enough to land a marketing internship my freshman year of college. My first manager there taught me some web development as well as some email marketing. The rest is history…

What do you like most about your job?

I really enjoy helping my colleagues solve issues as well as finding more efficient ways to get things done.

What is the strangest job you’ve ever had?

I had a marketing internship at a small print shop in college. A lot of my time there was spent sending faxes for people. Definitely not a fan of fax machines.

What is your favorite quote?

“I like an escalator because an escalator can never break, it can only become stairs.” – Mitch Hedburg

Do you have any pets?

No. However, my parents have a little dog named Peanut as well as a cat named CJ. It is always a pleasure to get to see them when I visit my folks.

Name one thing on your bucket list.

I would love to go skydiving. Seems like it would be an adrenaline rush.

What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?

I would have to say landing a job right out of college.

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

I enjoy being outdoors. I like to go running, hiking or canoeing when I can. I also like to visit the various breweries throughout New England.

What’s your favorite food? Least favorite food?

Thats a tough one. I love all food. However, if I had to choose:

Favorite Food: Chicken Wings

Least favorite food: Sauerkraut

Pick three words to describe yourself.

Spontaneous, Considerate, Friendly.

Favorite musician?

Another tough question. If I had to choose – Led Zeppelin.

If you were a Crayola crayon, what color would you be?

Razzmatazz (it is a real Crayola crayon color trust me)

You’re about to perform in a karaoke bar. What song do you pick?

Fight for Your Right – Beastie Boys

If you could live in a TV show, book, or movie, which one would you pick?

I would love to live in the Star Wars universe.

If you could hang out with anyone for a day, alive or dead, who would it be and why?

I would love to be able to hang out with my grandma. She had passed away when I was 1 so I never really got to meet her.
