From there Adriana ventured to Connecticut to study at Quinnipiac University, where she became a Marketing Assistant and managed university social media content while completing her Master of Science in Interactive Media.

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in East Boston, Massachusetts. From there I moved to Derry, New Hampshire for a few years, and now I reside in East Haven, Connecticut.

How did you choose this career path?

During my freshman year of college, I was a member of the university’s event planning board and was given the task of spreading the word around campus for an upcoming spring concert. Learning about all of the ways to tap into students and increasing awareness was fun for me – it became a challenge. After that experience, I knew I wanted to be in marketing.

What do you like most about your job?

I love that there are no restrictions. My creativity is the limit to what I can do.

What is your favorite part of being a member of the ZGM team?

The vibe the team brings to the table is unlike any other company I have worked for. Everyone has a unique personality and a great work ethic, which makes every project even more fun.

What is the strangest job you’ve ever had?

It’s not the strangest job, but I worked in a bakery for a couple of years and was the morning lead baker. I’d arrive at work at 4AM every day and would fry and decorate the donuts and bake the muffins for the day. I’ve also held jobs as an amusement park ride operator and flying trapeze instructor.

What is your favorite quote?

“Great things never came from comfort zones.”

Do you have any pets?

My white mosaic chinchilla, Snowball, is my furchild.

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

Training on flying trapeze and trampoline. An injury to my hand derailed my progress for a while, but I’m slowly working my way back!

What’s your favorite food? Least favorite food?

Absolutely addicted to buffalo chicken pizza and macarons. You will NEVER see me eating macaroni and cheese.
