Q: Where are you from?
A: I grew up in North Haven and recently moved to Guilford but lived right outside Boston in Quincy, MA for the last 6 years (where being a Yankee fan didn’t go over well).
Q: How did you choose this career path?
A: Consumer behavior has always interested me. I’ll be the first to admit that a great email campaign or eye-catching social media post will keep me engaging. After spending some time in visual merchandising, I realized that my passion was in the creative aspect of marketing paired with a strategic full circle plan of execution.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: So far, it has been the outpour of support from every team, regardless of level. Naturally, starting a new role comes with some discomfort, especially when it’s fully remote but I have felt welcome and supported from day one.
Q: What is your favorite part of being a member of the ZGM team?
A: Getting to be part of a team that is so outwardly and equally creative and intelligent.
Q: What is the strangest job you've ever had?
A: I was an intern for a wholesale shoe retailer in Manhattan my sophomore year of college. They really had no need for an intern, so I spent most days running errands around the city.
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: “Nothing changes if nothing changes,” is a nice reminder that if you want something in your personal or professional life to change, you must be the one to ignite it.
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: After weeks of applying for rescue pups, our application was finally accepted, and we will be picking up our Rottweiler/Shepherd puppy in two weeks! I’m sure she will make an appearance on some calls.
Q: Name one thing on your bucket list.
A: Skydiving and spending a summer in Italy.
Q: What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
A: Planning and having a wedding, buying a new home in a different state, getting a new job in a different industry, starting remotely, and adopting a puppy all within four months during a global pandemic.
Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
A: I love a good DIY project and have the ability to see potential in something ugly. I’ll grab an old piece of furniture off the curb and give it new life. I enjoy anything fashion related and updating my Instagram with new trends. You can also find me listening to true crime podcasts during any and all downtime.
Q: What's your favorite food? Least favorite food?
A: Definitely not a picky eater but I could eat lasagna every day for the rest of my life.
Q: Pick three words to describe yourself.
A: Passionate, determined, loyal.
Q: Favorite musician?
A: Depends on my mood but I recently bought a record player and have been jamming out to Fleetwood Mac and Frank Sinatra.
Q: If you were a Crayola Crayon, what could would you be?
A: Some shade of dark teal.
Q: You're about to perform in a karaoke bar. What song do you pick?
A: It is in everyone's best interest if I stay away from a microphone.
