Q: Where are you from?
A: Originally from the rolling cornfields of eastern Iowa, but for the last 15 years, I have called Arizona my home.
Q: How did you choose this career path?
A: Like any great calling in life, I did not choose the marketing life, the marketing life chose me.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love seeing how the ideas, thoughts, and strategies from the deep, dark recesses of my mind affect my clients' marketing success.
Q: What is the strangest job you've ever had?
A: Oh boy, I have had a few odd ones throughout my life. I would say the strangest to people who didn’t grow up in a farming community would be detasseling corn by hand. At the ripe age of 13, I would walk up and down rows of corn and pull the pollination tassels off of the top of corn stalks to reduce or stop cross-pollination between corn strains. I also worked in security at a nuclear power plant.
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: “There's always ways of motivating yourself to higher levels. Write about it, dream about it. But after that, turn it into action. Don't just dream.” - Dan Gable
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: I do. Two dogs (Lilly the black lab and Hawkeye the bull mastiff/lab mix). I also have three cats (Ollie, Loki, and Twinkie)
Q: Name one thing on your bucket list.
A: A personal bucket list item is playing a round of golf in Scottland A professional bucket list item is to be a keynote speaker at a marketing convention
Q: What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
A: My greatest accomplishment so far in my life would be giving my two kids the best life I possibly can.
Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
A: I love sports. Although at my age playing sports is more and more sparse, I do still love watching sports and recently I have started coaching some sports teams my son is on. Other hobbies: Iowa Hawkeyes, Reading, Binge-watching TV shows and movies, learning
Q: What's your favorite food? Least favorite food?
A: I would have to say my favorite food is a tie between Pizza and a well-cooked Ribeye Steak. My least favorite would have to be Indian food.

A: Genuine, Adaptable, Motivated
Q: Favorite musician?
A: The Monkees, Eminem, 2Pac, and Queen
Q: If you were a Crayola Crayon, what could would you be?
A: I would be that crayon at the bottom of the box that has crayon wax from many other crayons on it. I believe that teamwork is the best method and being that crayon would be the ultimate way to show teamwork.
Q: You're about to perform in a karaoke bar. What song do you pick?
A: Cat’s In The Cradle or Fishin’ In The Dark or Fat Bottomed Girls
Q: If you could live in a TV show, book, or movie, which one would you pick?
A: OH WOW - hum - ok I would say: Boardwalk Empire, I love that time period.
Q: If you could hang out with anyone for a day, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
A: Chris Farley because he was a true genius when it came to comedy and I think he was a down-to-earth good guy BUT I would also love to have one more day with my mom who passed away a couple of years ago from Lewy Body Dementia.

Eric Bergman
Eric joined Zero Gravity Marketing as a Senior Paid Media Specialist in December of 2021. Coming to ZGM with a diverse background in multiple industries, he has spent the last 10 years immersing himself in marketing. Eric began working in traditional marketing, but with his desire to learn more, do more, and grow he made the switch to digital media. During his career, Eric spent a few years working with Google consulting agencies. In his time with Google, he excelled at training agencies in the essentials of the digital world.
Eric has written multiple blogs on marketing and contributed to/been a cited source in multiple industry articles and blogs. His dedication to active learning keeps him on top of current trends of digital marketing and allows him to proactively identify subtle shifts and changes that may affect clients’ goals, and recommend the appropriate actions. Eric has made it his mission to understand the “why” behind the curtain of policies, the AI and overall theory Google has created and other platforms have duplicated for their ad streams provides the flexibility and insight needed to successfully drive campaign goals.
In his free time, Eric enjoys being with his two beautiful children (Harper and Hayden). He is a super fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and loves to experience new things. Eric loves having deep conversations on multiple topics and will always take the time to chat with anyone when they need to talk.
