Jasmine Taylor is a Marketing Professional with an expertise in Social Media and Corporate Communications. She successfully creates and implements communication plans, increases online audience engagement, and press materials. She earned her Master of Art in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Sacred Heart University and participated in the university’s chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America. Then, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication with a concentration in Advertising and Promotions from Southern Connecticut State University. At Southern, Jasmine studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain during summer 2015. Throughout her studies, Jasmine has taken classes in Copywriting, Communication Research, Media Ethics, and Public Relations in the Digital Age.
Her internship experiences at Cashman and Katz Integrated Communications, Yale University Properties, Specialty Events LLC, and the Goodspeed Opera House has helped her develop writing, presentation, analytic, and creative skills in a variety of professional contexts. Jasmine’s first full-time job was working as a Communications Coordinator at the University of Saint Joseph. As a Communications Coordinator, Jasmine handled the University’s e-newsletter, Campus Update, managed university-wide social media accounts, and promoted USJ brand standards and consistency across digital platforms. She also assisted with writing news features and stories for the Office of Marketing and Public Affairs. With her excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, she’s happy to join the Zero Gravity Marketing team as a Social Media Strategist.

How did you choose this career path?
Since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted to become a Talk Show Host! With my passion for public speaking, love for meeting people, gift of gab, and creative mind, majoring in Corporate Communications and Public Relations was the perfect match for me. As a Communications major, I’ve had the opportunity to learn all aspects of my field and discover my expertise in social media marketing.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy meeting my clients and creating a content strategy for their business. Over time, it’s amazing to see the growth of their business on social media.
What is your favorite part of being a member of the ZGM team?
The positive atmosphere! Everyone is outgoing, friendly, and passionate about their job.
What is the strangest job you’ve ever had?
I never had a “strange job,” but very interesting ones prior to ZGM. Some of them included being a Sales Associate in a department store, Student Worker in a library, and Substitute Teacher in the city of Meriden.

“Know your worth, then add tax.”
Do you have any pets?
I have an adorable silky terrier named Maxwell. He loves his Pup-Peroni treats and cuddles!
Name one thing on your bucket list.
Own a Hermès Birkin Bag.
What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
Earning my master’s degree in 2016. I had such a wonderful experience in graduate school.
Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy photography, movies, vineyards, trying new restaurants, spending time with my family and friends, and creating content for my personal blog.
What’s your favorite food? Least favorite food?
Love any type of pasta! My favorite recipe is Paula Dean’s Seafood Lasagna. Anything with mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, carrots, or quinoa is a no-no for me.

If you could live in a TV show, book, or movie, which one would you pick?
I’d take my rightful spot as Princess Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin. I’d have my magic carpet, pet tiger, prince, and a snazzy palace in Agrabah.
If you could hang out with anyone for a day, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
Oprah Winfrey. She’s a philanthropist, inspired me to become a Talk Show Host, and has a beautiful personality. I’d love to follow in her footsteps!
