Q: Where are you from?
A: I live in Simsbury, CT. I was born in CT but spent most of my childhood in MA. I moved back to CT after college and have been here ever since.
Q: How did you choose this career path?
A: I started my career in sales but found it really wasn’t for me. After being home with my kids for about 10 years as a stay-at-home mom, I started working part-time in marketing, which I really loved.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being able to learn about so many different aspects of marketing. I also really enjoy getting to meet new people since I'm a "people person."
Q: What is your favorite part of being a member of the ZGM team?
A: I love the culture at ZGM. From the moment I started, I felt so welcome. Work-life balance is important to me, and ZGM seems to really value that as well. I’m really enjoying the flexibility and the understanding that people have families and lives outside of work that are important to them.
Q: What is the strangest job you've ever had?
A: It may not have been strange, but it was definitely awful! Right after college, I worked for a company where my job was to cold-call executives to sell them spots at business conferences. It was terrible!!
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: "The impossible is always possible!"
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: I have one dog - a Weimaraner named Storm (and he is!). I also have 3 cats - two girls, Cleo and Boots, and a boy, Loki. The girls are sisters and Loki is their half-brother. They're Covid cats and are very attached to me!
Q: Name one thing on your bucket list.
A: I would love to spend a month traveling around Europe. I've already been to several countries there, but I would love more time to explore.
Q: What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
A: I know I should say, my children...! And they are for sure. But the thing I'm most proud of is how hard I worked to go to and graduate from my dream school, the University of Notre Dame.
Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
A: Nothing exciting! I love to read, do crossword puzzles, cook, and drag my kids to do things that they don’t want to do but then end up enjoying.
Q: What's your favorite food? Least favorite food?
A: I love so many dishes/kinds of food! I'd have to pick Italian cuisine as my favorite, though I can't really narrow it down to a dish. But I absolutely HATE beets!!
Q: Pick three words to describe yourself.
A: Outgoing, fun-loving, warm
Q: Favorite musician?
A: I don't really have a favorite; I love so many different artists and genres. But I would LOVE to see Justin Timberlake in concert.
Q: If you were a Crayola Crayon, what color would you be?
A: Tickle Me Pink—because pink is my favorite color
Q: You're about to perform in a karaoke bar. What song do you pick?
A: This is a tough one!! I think I'd have to go with something cheesy but fun, like "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus.
Q: If you could live in a TV show, book, or movie, which one would you pick?
A: The Great Gatsby
Q: If you could hang out with anyone for a day, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
A: Princess Diana—I really admire her strength through difficult times, her humanity and her humility. She just seemed very genuine.
