Zero Gravity Marketing has risen above the competition to become a top digital marketing firm in Connecticut, and we credit it to our unique, diverse team. We appreciate every player, and we know that without him or her, we wouldn’t be the successful marketing firm we are today.
With this in mind, we have launched an Employee Spotlight initiative. Our hope is that, as you learn more about each of the talented individuals at our marketing firm, you will gain further insight into why we are so great together.
Today, we are thrilled to introduce Sabrina Tessitore, Content Coordinator. We have asked her a few questions to provide an insider’s look as to what makes Sabrina tick. Enjoy!
Sabrina Tessitore, Content Coordinator
Where are you from?
North Haven, CT.
How did you choose this career path?
I originally went into college as a Journalism major. I love to write, and I knew I wanted to be in a field that allowed me to do so. However, I also love social media and felt I was missing that element of creativity in my day-to-day. Once I was introduced to creating content for different brands, I was hooked! Communication was the perfect route for me.
What do you like most about your job?
I love how every day in this field is different from the next. It’s fast-paced, exciting, and I get to put my personal stamp on everything I do while tailoring it to my clients’ needs.
What is your favorite part of being a member of the ZGM team?
The people! I started at Zero Gravity Marketing during office restrictions due to COVID-19, and although I only met a quarter of the company in person, they all made me feel so at home online. Everyone who works here makes you feel welcomed and heard – it really is one big family.
What is your favorite quote?
“Wherever you are, be all there.” -Jim Elliot
Do you have any pets?
Yes! I have a Shihpoo named Ruby. She’s a red, curly pup and is moderately famous on Instagram. I have done a good job of not letting the fame get to her head.
Name one thing on your bucket list.
To visit every state in the U.S. I have seen more of Europe than America, so that is definitely something I need to do.
What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment would have to be going abroad to London, England in college. That was my first time across seas, and not only did I not know anyone on the trip with me, I also had my first internship there. I gained a crazy amount of work and life experiences. I miss that city every day!
What’s your favorite food? Least favorite?
My favorite food has to be pizza, especially growing up next door to New Haven. My least favorite is anything that knows how to swim.
Pick three words to describe yourself.
Bubbly, Reliable, Determined.
You’re about to perform in a karaoke bar. What song do you pick?
How do I decide between Mr. Brightside by The Killers and In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins? Can I go twice?
If you could live in a TV show, book, or movie, which one would you pick?
Twilight for sure. We all have our guilty pleasures! #TeamEdward.
