Samantha Buckley
Samantha joined Zero Gravity Marketing as the Director of People and Culture in January 2024, bringing her extensive background in HR and Business Operations to the team.
During her college years at the University of California, Chico, she discovered her affinity for numbers, which led her to start her professional journey in the financial sector. In 2011, she made a pivotal shift into the world of marketing – beginning an exciting career she has never regretted. After a 12-year tenure with her first agency, Sam continued to refine her expertise as an operations consultant, collaborating with various marketing agencies.
Outside of work, Samantha can be found spending time with her husband, Steven, and their three kids – Owen, Sawyer, and Kashton – along with her dogs, Ranger & Rootie.
Why do you enjoy digital marketing?
What I enjoy most about working with a digital marketing agency is the fast-paced, ever-evolving nature of the industry. It’s exciting to be part of a team that’s constantly adapting, innovating, and staying ahead of trends. I also love working alongside incredibly talented and strategic thinkers who bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to every challenge.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I don't really have any hidden talents! If I had to answer, I guess I would say my hidden talents are my love for organization (I might be slightly OCD) and my knack for planning events. I love throwing parties with intricate themes, and I’m often the go-to person for friends and family when they need help pulling off a fun event!
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Growing up, I always wanted to be a teacher because I loved working with kids. While my career path changed, transitioning into the world of HR felt natural—it still allows me to follow my passion for supporting and guiding others.
Do you have any pets?
Yes, I have two dogs: A black lab mix, Ranger, and a mini schnauzer mix named Root Beer, aka Rootie.
