Spotlight

Mike Shirley, Account Director & Strategist

Zero Gravity Marketing has risen above the competition to become a top digital marketing firm in Connecticut, and we credit it to our unique, diverse team. We appreciate every player, and we know that without him or her, we wouldn’t be the successful marketing firm we are today.

With this in mind, we have launched an Employee Spotlight initiative. Our hope is that, as you learn more about each of the talented individuals at our marketing firm, you will gain further insight into why we are so great together.

Today, we are thrilled to introduce Mike Shirley, Account Executive & Strategist. We have asked him a few questions to provide an insider’s look as to what makes Mike tick. Enjoy!

I enjoy helping others solve their problems and reach their goals. Also working with such an awesome team of people is very rewarding.

The people I work with. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they are incredibly good, enjoyable people.

I’ve been paid to sample beers before.

What is your favorite quote?

“Do or do not, there is no try.”

My dog, Bodhi.

Being a role model for my younger brothers growing up.

Soccer, reading, hiking.

Competitive, inquisitive, caring.

Too many to pick from, something from Oasis, The Beatles, Third Eye Blind, or Train.

If you could live in a TV show, book, or movie, which one would you pick?

A book, and the book would be “Alexander the Great” by Phillip Freeman.

Alexander Hamilton. In my opinion, he is one of the brightest and most cunning men in American history.
