Zero Gravity Marketing has risen above the competition to become a top digital marketing firm in Connecticut, and we credit it to our unique, diverse team. We appreciate every player, and we know that without him or her, we wouldn’t be the successful marketing firm we are today.
With this in mind, we have launched an Employee Spotlight initiative. Our hope is that, as you learn more about each of the talented individuals at our marketing firm, you will gain further insight into why we are so great together.
Today, we are thrilled to introduce Ashley Helmus, Senior Marketing Specialist. We have asked her a few questions to provide an insider’s look as to what makes Dan tick. Enjoy!
Ashley Helmus, Senior Marketing Specialist
Where are you from?
I am from Brookfield, CT… go Bobcats!
How did you choose this career path?
I used to be a client of Zero Gravity. Every time they came into our office for the monthly report I was so excited (and not because we had lunch delivered), but to see how creative, driven and dedicated to their jobs made me want to work for a company like that. And somehow the stars aligned!
What do you like most about your job?
Every day is different, and I am never doing the same thing.
What is your favorite quote?
“Do more of what makes you happy.” – Carmel McConnell
Do you have any pets?
I have a handsome mutt named Kemba and if you’re wondering if he’s named after Kemba Walker, why yes he is! If you want to see a pic—just ask—i have over a million 🙂
Name one thing on your bucket list.
Go snorkeling on the great barrier reef.
Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
I love being outdoors, and you can find me hiking, kayaking, paddling boards, running. If you can’t find me outside, I am at HomeGoods or TJ Maxx.
What’s your favorite food? Least favorite food?
Fav food: Tacos, Chimichangas and a Margarita. Least fav food: Meatloaf
Pick three words to describe yourself.
Ambitious, Competitive and Witty
Well, 8th grade me loved N’Sync. And now I would say I am torn between Gary Clark Jr or Nathanial Ratliff and the Night Sweats.
You’re about to perform in a karaoke bar. What song do you pick?
It depends on my mood but either my heart will go on by Celine Dion or Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.
If you could hang out with anyone for a day, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
My family, they’re my everything and ridiculously hilarious.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
