Spotlight

Lyndi Holzwarth, Senior Technical Project Manager

Zero Gravity Marketing has risen above the competition to become a top digital marketing firm in Connecticut, and we credit it to our unique, diverse team. We appreciate every player, and we know that without him or her, we wouldn’t be the successful marketing firm we are today.

With this in mind, we have launched an Employee Spotlight initiative. Our hope is that, as you learn more about each of the talented individuals at our marketing firm, you will gain further insight into why we are so great together.

Today, we are thrilled to introduce Lyndi Holzwarth, Technical Project Manager. We have asked her a few questions to provide an insider’s look as to what makes Lyndi tick. Enjoy!

Lyndi Holzwarth, Senior Technical Project Manager

Where are you from?

Harleysville, PA (northwest of Philly)

How did you choose this career path?

My first experience with code was learning to build a website in the ’90s, using tables. I continued to play with code here and there over the years, but it wasn’t until 2012 that I really became serious about learning more. I switched career paths, and began hand-coding emails and managing a small team of web developers. The developers were more than happy to teach me whenever I came across a question.

What do you like most about your job?

I really enjoy the variety and the constant demand to learn new things. I love to solve the puzzles that code often presents. It often forces you to think about what you are doing in new ways.

What is your favorite part of being a member of the ZGM team?

The people are fantastic. Everyone is willing to take the time to answer your questions, whether it is related to the project or if it’s where to get a good sandwich and a cup of coffee. They are willing to help each other wherever and however needed.

What is the strangest job you’ve ever had?

I worked as a typesetter for a company that made puzzle magazines and digital short-story books. I designed pages for Crosswords, Word Seeks, etc. and reformatted printed stories into e-books. It was very repetitive, and there was not much room for creativity. I did get free puzzles books though!

What is your favorite quote?

“I like nonsense. It wakes up the brain cells.”

Do you have any pets?

Three goldfish (my kids keep changing the names) and a water snail named Slimer.

Name one thing on your bucket list.

Travel around the world except for Antarctica. I’m not a fan of cold weather.

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

I have two kids, so I guess my hobby is driving them places. ? Other than spending time with family, I also enjoy cooking and reading.

What’s your favorite food?

Gummy bears, I would eat them for every meal. Skittles are a close second. Least favorite food? Lima beans, yuk.

If you were a Crayola Crayon, what would you be?

Teal

If you could live in a TV show, book, or movie, which one would you pick?

Harry Potter
