Chris Uzzo is CEO and Founder of Zero Gravity Marketing. His work with clients helps them achieve natural search engine rankings resulting in increased website traffic and conversions.
Chris’s expertise includes natural search engine optimization through keyword research, analytics analysis, content optimization and link building. He also has over ten years experience setting up and managing successful pay-per-click campaigns through Google Adwords and Microsoft Ad Center with budgets that are large and small.
Chris performs analysis of his client’s digital presence prior to making recommendations. This discovery phase can be likened to a digital SWOT (Strengths Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis. Chris looks at the web as a marketing tool, and his search strategies – as well as his best practices for digital marketing all make for a very compelling case to revisit your web-site.
Chris has experience designing and developing internet and multimedia solutions such as; web sites, mobile sites, micro sites, landing pages, email marketing campaigns, search engine optimization campaigns and pay-per-click campaigns, and social media campaigns. In addition he is fluent in coding languages such as HTML, ASP, PERL, PHP, VBScript, CSS, C++, SQL, and more. Yet it is in combining his design and analytical skills, that Chris is able to help clients develop innovative web marketing programs that are both aesthetically pleasing and effectively executed.
Chris was formerly the Vice President of Search Marketing and Analytics at Horizon Marketing Group. For over eight years he lead the search marketing department servicing clients such as Citi, Home Depot, SavATree, Bob’s Stores, Edible Arrangements, Laticrete, CoCoKey, Town Fair Tire, Scooter Store and Verifone to name just a few. He also led the HMG Labs team who’s purpose was to research and test new technology prior to recommending it to clients.
Prior to that Chris was the Webmaster for Rideworks, a state funded non-profit agency where he managed five web sites, headed up email marketing programs, and managed company databases. He has also worked as a search engine marketing specialist for eVision, a web design and search engine marketing company while successfully starting and running his own web design company.
Chris is recognized as a Qualified Google Advertising Professional & as a Qualified Google Analytics Individual. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Massachusetts and is currently completing a master’s degree in computer science at Southern Connecticut State University.
