Zero Gravity Marketing is looking for a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to become an integral part of our closely-knit Development team. Our ideal candidate would need to execute their job duties without supervision, proactively find solutions to both small and complex problems, and be able to effectively communicate with clients and other internal team members.
CMS Experience
- WordPress
- Advanced
- Be our go-to Developer for all WordPress-related builds and problem solving
- Troubleshoot functionality in existing builds (both theme-based and custom-built) and execute solutions
- Speed and performance optimization
- Strong opinions on what tools and services we should use to get projects done correctly and efficiently
- Working with Custom Fields and structuring those fields for project-specific needs
- Multisite experience
- REST API basics and how to use it
- Able to also develop more custom OOP themes and custom plugins
- Shopify
- Mid Level
- Be our go-to Developer for all Shopify-related issues
- Troubleshooting functionality in existing sites and future builds
Technical integration with 3rd party Apps
Speed and performance optimization - In-depth knowledge of all the intricacies and rules that go into building an eCommerce website
- Magento 1 & 2, and Drupal
- Mid Level (optional, but preferred)
- Able to troubleshoot functional issues with existing websites we manage
- Updating Core and 3rd Party Software components
- Speed and performance optimization
HTML
- Structure quality semantics that is both SEO and Developer-friendly
- Map out designs in component/module based formats with modern HTML5 standards
SCSS
- Advanced CSS using CSS pre-processor(s)
- Well-versed in Bootstrap (or another popular CSS framework), Flex-box, and other fundamental modern CSS techniques
- Have strong opinions regarding organization (utility classes, BEM, etc.)
Javascript
- Advanced modern JavaScript (es6) knowledge
- Mid Level in at least 1 modern JS library (Vue.js, React.js, or Angular.js)
- Knowledge of package managers, build tools, and task managers like: NPM/Yarn, WebPack, Gulp, and Composer
PHP
- Advanced PHP to leverage WordPress and other non-Shopify CMS requirements
- Understand how PHP 7 classes work
- Experience using composer and autoloading
- Know how an MVC structure works
- Experienced in at least one PHP framework (like Laravel)
MYSQL
- Advanced knowledge of how to read and interact with databases like MYSQL and MariaDB
GIT
- Basic GIT workflows
- Setting up gitignore files
- Using different branches/features
- Connecting repos to automatic deployment services
General Abilities
- Work alongside our Technical Project Managers, Digital Production Directors and Account Executives in a friendly and productive manner
- Utilize available resources to help you troubleshoot issues
- Socialize with team members in a friendly manner

Nice to haves
