Q: Where are you from?

A: I was born in Boston, and I grew up in Canton, MA, which is about 30 minutes south of Boston. I have lived in CT since the mid-2000s (we live in Colchester, CT).

Q: How did you choose this career path?

A: Some time ago, a college friend of mine needed a website. I built it on Google Sites ?. After that was done, I realized that we needed the website to rank highly on Google, Yahoo, and MSN Search (ha!) for terms related to what they offered to drive traffic. I started reading, and reading, and reading and eventually grasped the basic concepts of SEO (which were quite different at the time). I did a lot of ‘trial and error’ testing, which lead to results. I was ecstatic and really enjoyed the whole process of SEO. As someone in marketing, this was a unique skill set that many others didn’t have or even know of. This lead me to a job at an accounting firm in the Hartford area and, eventually, here at ZGM.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Pouring in a lot of hard work that generates results is super rewarding, especially for those accounts that failed elsewhere. This, along with working with an amazing team, are what I like most about my job.

Q: What is your favorite part of being a member of the ZGM team?

A: ZGM is unlike any other agency that I know of, and unlike many of the other companies I have worked at. For one, the people are incredibly creative, driven, and kind. You won’t find any big egos. Secondly, there is a real comradery and ‘team vibe’ amongst the staffers. Working with a team with these great attributes is my favorite part.

Q: What is the strangest job you’ve ever had?

A: I worked at Fenway Park during a summer in college, selling "ICE COLD SODAHHHH!".

Q: What is your favorite quote?

A: "If you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." – Conan O’Brien

Q: Do you have any pets?

A: Do kids count? If not, no pets. If so, we have two very active pets – both are housebroken (for the most part).

Q: Name one thing on your bucket list.

A: Travel a lot more where I do a lot less near a beach, with a fishing rod.

Q: What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?

A: It’s a work in progress one year at a time but becoming a Dad to my two kids has been, by far, my greatest accomplishment.

Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

A: Fishing, good TV/movies, family trips with the kids, geeking out on SEO, following the Sox, various home improvement projects (finishing some, not finishing others) and lawn care (not a joke).

Q: What’s your favorite food? Least favorite food?

A: Favorite: Town Spa Pizza in Stoughton, MA. Least Favorite: Olives

Q: Pick three words to describe yourself.

A: Perseverant, Honest, Resourceful.

Q: Favorite musician?

A: Led Zeppelin but more recently, The Black Keys.

Q: If you were a Crayola crayon, what color would you be?

A: Blue

Q: You’re about to perform in a karaoke bar. What song do you pick?

A: Don't Stop Believin'.

Q: If you could live in a TV show, book, or movie, which one would you pick?

A: Wicked Tuna

Q: If you could hang out with anyone for a day, alive or dead, who would it be and why?

A: My little brother, who passed away in 2016. I’d love to get a chance to spend more time with him.
